Photocatalytic Spryable solution for UTI in toilets

Focus Area

  • Green graphitic carbon supported metal oxide composite against microbes responsible for urinary tract infection in toilets

  • Inexpensive, green, non-hazardous, still highly effective photocatalytic disinfectant which can work at low light available in most washrooms and public toilets

  • Large scale sprayable solution production with proper packaging, stability and end user ease

  • Replacement of commonly using chlorine based solutions which are mostly found resistant

  • Similar material will find its applications in other targeted area like feed, food packaging, grain packaging etc

Current Status

  • At TRL (Technology Readiness Level) 5

  • Technology/material validated in intended application

  • Coper spryable liquid formulation is being evaluated
